Rehabilitating

They play under the kitchen table because there's literally nowhere else to play in our house. ;)

So, as a general rule, I require at least a 24 hour puke-free window before I'll even consider sending Avery back to school ... and even then, I do so with extreme caution ...

We've been burned before ...

We're moving in the right direction though ... we're approaching that 24 hour mark where buckets and towels have been replaced with hope and a renewed sense of ... something?

They parked their Magic Carpet at the top of the staircase so they could refuel it with beet juice ...

... in case it wasn't totally obvious what they're doing up there (it wasn't to me, i mean, at first.)

Glad to hear you're on the mend! Mid-sickness you think it will never end!

Oh Lori! The pukes are the worst! Why does your sweet family always seem to get that particular bug? I feel for you! I'd rather have any other sickness than barf! I hope sweet Avery gets to return to school soon, I know how much she loves 2nd grade! Take care!

The mommy antics of great moms...24 hour puke free window, check. Towels and blankets all over the floors cause it's much easier to throw them in the washer than cleaning puke out and off of carpet, check.
Not knowing that beet juice is what causes magic carpets to fly...well, I'm with you there too!
